A very interactive hands-on CPR and first aid training session was organized for the employees at JSS Pro, Madhapur on 6th March, 2018 by DAA | DAANA. It was conducted by Dr. Aijaz Khan, a DCMS alumnus from the 1988 batch. He is a certified AHA instructor and Emergency Medicine specialist based in Dallas. He is also a member with the Board of Directors at Deccan Alumni Association of North America – DAANA. A training workshop was conducted on Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) by DCMS Alumni Association – DAA today (8th February, 2018) at Princess Esra Hospital, Hyderabad. Hands-on CPR training is essential in promoting bystander help in ‘saving lives’ in event of a sudden cardiac arrest. This was part of the DAA-DAANA initiative to conduct medical training workshops, including BLS workshops for healthcare providers, and the community at large.
