The first batch students from DCMS arrived in the US from Hyderabad back in 1989. Since then there has been a steady stream of alumni arriving in the U.S. every year. It is now estimated that more than 600 alumni from DCMS are settled in the U.S. either as practicing physicians in various specialties or undergoing training in programs across the U.S. and Canada.

DAANA was established with the goal of unifying all alumni under one umbrella organization. Our mission is to foster collaborative relationships between alumni of DCMS through educational and cultural programs and to help the underprivileged through philanthropic activities.
